Receive User Submitted Posts from WordPress Frontend (Posts, Pages, & CPTs)

If you’re accepting user-generated content from your site visitors such as guest posts, product listing, posting questions and feedback, etc,. You would want to setup frontend forms so that visitor don’t have to login to your site and access the WP dashboard.

So in the latest version of Tablesome Pro (v 0.8.9), you have the “Add Post” action for WordPress forms, so that you can easily create Posts, Pages, and CPTs from the Frontend. As it is the norm with Tablesome this action works for all supported form plugins namely Contact Form 7, WPForms, Forminator, and Elementor Forms.

You can choose to save it to Draft, set to Pending for review, or publish the post Publicly/Privately. You can also setup your post submission form and map the form fields to the corresponding post fields.

Post fields available for mapping:

  • Post Title
  • Post Status (Draft, Pending Private, Publish, Trash)
  • Post Content
  • Post Excerpt
  • Taxonomy ( Categories or Tags)
  • Post Meta ( This will be stored inside WP table named “{prefix}_post_meta”)

Go ahead and give the new ‘Add Post’ action a try and let us know what you think – https://pauple.freshdesk.com/
