Step 1: Install Contact Form 7 and create your contact form

Before we move to integrate HubSpot CRM with Contact Form 7, first, you’re going to need to install Contact Form 7.

  • To do that, head to the WordPress website, Plugins → Add New 
  • Search for ‘Contact Form 7’ and install & activate the plugin
  • Then go to Contact → Add New
  • Use the form editor fields and add the required form field and save your form
  • Copy and paste the form shortcode on the page you want add the CF7 form

Step 2: Configure HubSpot API on your WordPress site

To connect your WordPress site to HubSpot, you need an HubSpot API Key.

  • To get that, you need to log in to your HubSpot account.
  • Copy the key, and paste it on the Tablesome by going to Tablesome → Settings → Integrations → HubSpot
  • Then click the connect button and save the settings.

Step 3: Create Contact Form 7 and HubSpot Workflow

Now that your site is connected to HubSpot, you have to create a form workflow to send the data to HubSpot. You have to create a new workflow in Tablesome to connect HubSpot and Contact Form 7.

  • In Tablesome, you can select the “Contact Form 7 OnForm Submit” trigger and select the CF7 form that you want to connect to HubSpot
  • Then you have to select the “Add to HubSpot” action and select the HubSpot audience / HubSpot Form to sync

Step 4: Map Contact Form 7 fields to HubSpot

  • Finally, you have to map the Contact Form 7 form fields to the HubSpot form fields
  • You only need to add the necessary form fields
  • Also, you can apply conditional logic to validate the data submitted through the CF7 form. So that you can only send the contact that needs added.
  • Using conditional logic you can filter various contacts being added to HubSpot and stop spam emails from being added to HubSpot.
