How To Connect Gravity Forms to Airtable

In order to connect Gravity Forms to Airtable you need to first create your Gravity Forms form and then create an Airtable table and then connect it using Airtable API key. Let’s see how this can be done.

Step-1: Creating a New Table in Airtable:

(Note: Before you move to this step you have to create the Gravity Forms form)

  • Login to your Airtable account.
  • If you don’t have one, you’ll need to set up your Airtable account.
  • Then go to your database and create a new Airtable table
  • Create new table columns and change the columns headers based on your Gravity Forms form. We will link the form fields and columns later.

Step-2: Integration using Airtable API Key

  • You’ll need to enter your API key to authorize Tablesome to access your account and Airtable bases.
  • Go to your WordPress site and then Tablesome →Tablesome Settings → Integrations → Airtable
  • Here paste the Airtable API Key and click the “Connect to Airtable” button
  • After Airtable is connected, click “Save” to save the Tablesome Settings

Step-3: Creating an Gravity Forms Airtable Workflow with Tablesome

Now you have to setup a Tablesome workflow to connect Gravity Forms to Airtable table.

  • Go to Tablesome → Create New Table, and give this workflow a good title
  • Under ‘Workflows’ go to Trigger 1 section, here select Gravity Forms Integration
  • Select the ‘On Form Submit (Gravity Forms)’ trigger and select the form that we have just created
  • Then go to Action 1 → Airtable Integration → ‘Add Record to Airtable DB’ action

Step-4: Map Fields

Next go to the Map User Field section, to map the form fields to the Airtable table columns

  • First, select the Form field on the left side and then select the corresponding Airtable column on the right side
  • Repeat this process for each field on your Gravity Forms form
  • Click the ‘Save’ button at the bottom to save your changes.

Now you’re ready to start sending your Gravity Forms form submissions to Airtable. Tablesome will send data to Airtable whenever someone submits this form.
